Crow’s feet, turkey neck, worry lines, smoker lines, marionette lines… the list of epithets goes on. No matter what we choose to call them, the fact remains that our face shows our age first. No one is immune to lines, wrinkles, and volume loss, and many health conditions can cause changes to our skin, which only add to the psychological effects of aging.
Collagen loss, changes in elasticity, and even bone loss can cause a “tired” or “sunken” look. Repeated muscle movement like laughing or squinting at the computer screen etch lines around the eyes. And, of course, sun damage shows as our faces develop dark areas and spots.
