We Have Jeuveau (Newtox), the New Neurotoxin for Banishing Frown Lines

Do frown lines make you look tired or angry, even though you feeling great? If so, we have a brand new solution. There’s a new game in town that can improve the appearance of those troublesome lines between your brows. It’s called Jeuveau® and it may have a leading edge over other neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport"

At Ventura Institute of Dermatologic Arts, with locations in Ventura and Camarillo, CA,

Dr. Peter Karlsberg and his Physicians Assistant, Michele Ayans, are proud to offer Jeuveau, known as Newtox.  Dr. Karlsberg is now 4 months out from his own Jeuveau treatment, and his Newtox is still working great! He’s so excited about this new product that Ventura Institute of Dermatologic Arts is offering $50 off of your first treatment.*

Neurotoxins, such as BOTOX® and Dysport®, have been fighting fine lines and wrinkles for years. But Jeuveau is a recent market entry that’s in a large clinical study, works at least as well and potentially may last a bit longer than Botox.

Here’s how Jeuveau works.

How did I get these lines?

When you wrinkle your brows in concentration, frustration, or anger, vertical and angular lines form on the bridge of your nose and between your brows. When you were younger, these dynamic lines disappeared as soon as you unfurrow your brow. However, with age, your skin loses elasticity and tone, the result of a decrease in collagen and elastin production. The decrease can be accelerated through sun exposure, an inevitability of life in beautiful Southern California. Simple reuse is a primary factor, as well. Every year, those expressions pile up, these lines from well-etched paths in your skin that don’t smooth out the way they used to.

Enter Jeuveau  (as known as Newtox)

Jeuveau was recently approved by the FDA to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines in adults. Jeuveau contains purified botulinum toxin type A, which relaxes the muscles responsible for contracting and forming lines in your face.

Jeuveau treatment is quick and simple. The product is injected within minutes in the comfort of our office. The team at Ventura Institute of Dermatologic Arts has 25 years experience using neurotoxins and knows the exact amount and placement of the injections to ensure a youthful, yet still natural-looking outcome.

The effects of Jeuveau become evident within a few days post-treatment and generally last up to four months.
